Beginners’ Baseball Batting Tips

Learning how to play baseball is an exciting activity for a kid. One of the most common baseball favorites is learning how to hit. With the proper baseball batting tips, kids will learn exactly how to get great hits over and over again.

While there are many different batting tips, the basic fundamentals should be learned first. Once these have been mastered, players can move on to more complicated tips. The tips listed below are the first hitting tips kids should be taught.

Beginners must learn how to find a bat that is good for them. Some bats are too heavy and some are too light. Let them try a few different bats to see what feels comfortable. After they’ve found the right bat, they should learn how to hold it. The bat should be slightly angled over the shoulder in a vertical position. Hands should be close together as they grip the bat.

Stance is another important fundamental that players should learn. In the batter’s box, players should stand with their feet shoulder width apart. Their bodies should face the plate, but their heads should be towards the pitcher. Tell them to keep their eyes on the ball at all times.

Make sure you swing in a smooth, fluid motion. Keep both hands on the bat until after contact is made. As the pitch is thrown, wait on the ball. You don’t want to open your front shoulder or hips too soon or you’ll swing early and strike out.

These mechanics can only be perfected with practice. New players should be encouraged to practice as often as possible. The more they practice, the better they will become. Remind them that confidence is also important. They must remain confident while at the plate and they will be more likely to hit the ball.

One way to get better is to watch other players hit the ball. Professionals or older kids can really show you what you’re doing right or wrong.

Baseball it a lot of fun and beginners should enjoy playing. No matter what, they should have a good time. If they follow this rule and all the batting tips listed above, they are sure to become really good baseball hitters.

Firs of all bbcor have pretty much the same anmuot of pop(because of the regulations they all follow). The only thing to grade them on is balance, vibration, durability, and the sizee of the sweet spot.I hate the DEMARINI bats! They have good balance but the sweet spot is puny. God for bid you get jamed because all you get is a swinging bunt. CAT-5 is alright. Feels good in my hands, makes nice sound, and a good sized sweet spot. It has virtualy no vibration. But it is nothing special. I have used all kinds of EXOGRIDS and they are my favorite. because they are slighly more top heavy tham other bats, it seems to give me more power. I have never heard of one breaking. and if i get jammed I can still have warning track power. The Easton SURGE and OMEN both feel the same to me. good balance. not to much vibration. but What keeps me from using them is the sound, they sound like a weak fart when hit with it.
