Speed Up Your Golf Game
Playing an 18 hole round of golf can become a chore, especially when it takes you five or more hours to complete it. And if that’s the case, then you lose a whole day that you could keep with the proper tips.
But to worry, if this is one of of the problems that you are having, then a solution is within reach.
Of course you might have to check to see if you are one of the reasons for slow play. Do you look for lost balls for more than a few minutes? Do you take 10 practice swings? Do you take a long time to putt?
Some simple, golf putting and practice tips will help if you are guilty of committing any of these habits that slow down your game.
Let’s take a look at some tips that I’ve found useful in helping me play a game that is not only less time consuming, but more enjoyable as well.
Locate an exclusive country club that is rarely crowded and join.
Avoid any courses that allow fivesomes to play.
If you schedule allows, try to get in a golf game during the week rather than wait for the weekend.
Find out what time the first players are allowed on the course and be one of the first groups to play even if it is 5 or 6 am.
If you are looking for a course that isn’t crowded and you happen to live in a busy area, you may find that you need to drive an hour or more out the city to find a course that meets your needs. Doing so will be worth your time and effort for you and your friends.
Remember these golf tips if you want to play a more enjoyable game of golf and not have to wait 10 or 15 minutes on every hole because of slow play.
To play a leisurely and enjoyable golf game, it shouldn’t take much more than 4 hours to finish 18 holes, so remember these “fast-play” tips , and you won’t be one of the many people who don’t play because golf takes up so much time.
