Who Is The Most Talented Football Player
Football is a sports discipline loved by the entire world, and it is a game that is viewed and appreciated around the planet. You will find boys of all ages, kicking a ball with passion and when they reach their teens, they will pick their favorite players as their heroes to nourish and worship. Come the world cup, and the whole world almost comes to a standstill. Everybody is talking about football alone. Pele is rightfully a contender to the title of the best footballer of all time. He comes from Brazil and his play has taken the game of football by such a storm, that his imprint will remain forever in the history of football. He will be recalled for a long time to come. When he dribbles, the whole stadium gets so excited, that they would give him a roaring applause. A discussion on his skillful game and his incredible set up passes for a goal would follow. This pass will be remembered forever.
Lionel Messi Di Stefano is an exquisite player whose techniques, devotion to the game, and scoring skills have endeared him to his captivated followers. Maradona himself declared Messi to be his rightful successor, and he could be named the most exciting footballer of the current era.
The German, Beckenbauer is a midfielder, and plays a rather defensive game. He plays with an eye for the goal. He can be ranked as the best defender of the contemporary era.
Cruyff, he is all over the field, playing the most fascinating game that you have ever seen.
Maradona was the quickest and most vigorous Argentinean player, who, though short and stocky, could keep the ball under his control. He has earned for himself a reputation of being the Whiz Kid in football. He is a tiny man, who stood out in the field, and drove the crowds crazy. His goals were so beautiful, that they will always be remembered. He only has to appear to drive the crowd into frenzy. That’s how charismatic he is.
Zinedine Yazid Zidan Zidane is the golden French footballer, who took his team to success the 1998 world cup. He took some time off from football but only to return as captain of his team and also to lead the team up to the finals in the year 2005. For his outstanding performances, he was given the Golden Ball.
Lionel Andrs “Leo” Messi of Argentina today holds the baton as the best current player in the world and is labelled as one of the greatest in football. By the age of 22, he was a recipient of Ballon d’or and FIFA Player of the Year award, followed by another Ballon d’or at the age of 23. No less a genius than Maradona hailed his stunts, speed control and control on the field and virtually declared him his successor. He is fast and skillful. It is hoped that he will lead Argentina to success one day. He is really young, and has many more years of play ahead.
Man has played football since the beginning of history. Football enthusiasts are growin in numbers every year. The football world cup is organized once in four years, and you will find that months before the games start, the public get involved in discussion of the game. As the days come closer and closer, you will hear nothing else but football and its champions discussed.
A heated debate will be centred around, who would be the greatest football player of all time. You can be sure that the figures, who will be argued upon will eventually be Pele and Maradona. The discussion will never stop; it will go on forever, since it is a view of the public in general and will not come to a final conclusion so easily. Though it may be safe to let it rest, the emerging consensus is that, in the end, Pele would take the crown.
